Between high school and college, Samara Quirine Klein lived on a kibbutz in Israel and worked as a hairdresser's assistant in Amsterdam. She studied for two years at Barnard College and is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at Eugene Lang College of the New School University, where she studies creative writing.
