John Mandelberg lives in Los Angeles and works in retail. His stories have appeared in Southwest Review, Fiction, and Northwest Review, and in the anthology Absolute Disaster: Fiction From Los Angeles. He is not the John Mandelberg who is a film director from New Zealand; he is the American one, the John Mandelberg who writes short stories, not the other one.
