To the boy who stopped the planet-

Should we let it spin again?

Or linger, here,

beneath frigid steel

and Milky Way spills,

tracing constellations

on entangled fingers

with our thumbs.

I’d like to stay awhile,

I think,

catching kisses

between conversation.

The world can wait.
