Moroccan photographer and filmmaker Achraf Baznani creates surreal scenarios through his wildly imaginative and wholly impractical imagery. A small human figure, often the artist himself, can be found throughout – sometimes appearing trapped within a glass jar or even shrunk to the size of a camera lens. Baznani hopes that the viewer perceives his strong senses of humor and wonder. A self-taught artist, Baznani has no formal photography training. He recently published his second photobook, “Through My Lens,” which shows that pictures truly speak louder than words. We hope you find Baznani’s creations unique and inspiring!
