I think, if one is to die in New York City, Egg Cream is a better way to go than say, Pastrami.

Wonderful piece! Wonderful! The poignancy of our immigrant population subjected to inferior Egg-Creames revealed for all and sundry to examine in detail! The lonliness of gay Pakistani interns who have fled their home country in order to live together in love in a shabby NYC apartment resulting in the tragedy of food from a restraunt which didn't follow the universal health-codes!

Well, being a native New Yorker (Brooklyn), I found this short story written by Ellen Lindquist to be just as clever and well written as anything I've read lately. She sure has talent. I appreciated the description of her props while reading her material. I've always fashioned myself as sort of a writer, but could never write anything that well no matter how hard I tried. I guess it's my age, since I'm past 50. Reading about an egg cream sure brought back some happy memories. I hope Ellen submits more of her material to you for the pleasure of your readers.

Wonderful poem about Jesus giving it to Satan in the shadow of the valley. I liked it very much.
